The wife and I do this kind of thing for the adventure every now and then ... it helps us decide which parks to return to. I can never go to Vegas and not make a point of going to Zion. Helps that I work for the NPS. Trevor | Canon 7D & T1i | Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L | Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS | Sigma DC 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5

I have to tweaking to do as I have managed to over saturate a few, but some are spot on what was experienced ... particularly enjoyed getting the night shots. I once flew from the valley floor to the top of El Capitan in a US Forest Helipcopter with my search and rescue K9. They landed on top and we stepped out. What a view! I'm never tired of the Grand Tetons. I took a road trip in June to Arches, Tetons, and Yellowstone. Loved them so much I went back this fall. Two four thousand mile road trips this year. I had to cancel my trip to Airventure 2011 in Oshkosh to be able to afford to go but I think it was worth it. I would have to say Yellowstone is my favorite for Wildlife and cant decide between Tetons and Arches for beauty. They're both spectacular. It's very secluded, and you really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Haven't had that feeling in other national parks. I've been there twice, and I can't wait to go back. Incredible night skies, as there are no cities within a few hours. Nikon D600 | Bower 14mm f/2.8 | Nikon 16-35mm f/4 VR | Nikon 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 VR | Nikon 50mm f/1.8G | Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR
