Nice job and # 2 I like the most. The hands are cut off but maybe you cropped out? Good luck.

besides a tighter crop on #3. i love all of them. great work, Berrylish!

I like #2 the best. I think they all need to be a bit sharper/clearer. If so I might like #4 better :)

Keep at it!

Thank goodness for this post; I thought I was losing my eyesight!

I also noticed that some of the shots, esp. 3 & 4, are slightly OOF. Other than that, I have to agree that #2 and 4 are simply outstanding.

Great work!

Thanks for the comments and criticism all! I never notice things sticking out of people's heads when I'm taking the pictures :o . #2...I didn't noticed that I cut her fingers when I took the pic either hehehe. I have another shot like that but unfortunately her eyes are closed  .

I think they go out of focus when I resize them. Is there a way to resize them and have them be sharp instead of using unsharp mask after I resize them?

I really like #4.
The white blouse really sets off her hair and skin.
Nice DOF and choice of background too.

I can't create beauty with my camera, I can only capture it.

Yes, there's a few non-destructive ways to apply unsharp mask so resizing them won't matter. Some of them are in the latest issue of Digital Photographer (the Sports edition). I'm sure someone here knows of some online links too.

Great shots !

Just have a question though. In photo 3, I notice you took the pic at 1/1000 with iso 400. Was there any reason why you chose to take this at such a quick speed and keep the iso at 400 as opposed to dropping it down to iso 100/200 and shooting at 1/250 or 1/500 etc ? .. or was this unintentional ?

I'm pretty new to this so I'm still trying to get my head around the whole exposure settings.

Thanks !

Pretty girls, indeed. I don't like the background in #1/5, but the others are nicely done.
