Some of these are taken by my girls too (despite having my name on them - I'll have to develop a LR publish service with their copyright details).

It's great they are finally taking an interest in photography.

My wife took the above with her little Samsung. I added a gaussian blur, saturated overlay, then desaturated and reduced the contrast to taste.

Not a fan of the processing on the first 1, rest are good though :)

Thanks Serena and Jezz. I agree - #1 needs more desaturation. I guess I just had to fiddle as it didn't come from a DSLR.

I agree but for a different reason. The soft glamour look makes me want to rub my eyes. I like the last one and Maddie the Skipper

Thanks Kraaazymike.

I tend to agree - saw the effect on a tutorial and have used it twice. Had three comments where people said why didn't you focus!

Last one is pretty much straight out of the camera @ 640mm equivalent focal length at F5.6.

Used a 15% mask of skin softening on Maddie - due the the harsh light.
