Thanks, these were shot in jpg and processed in Paint Sho Pro X.
I tweaked exposure with the curves and histogram tools (with raw I'd do this prior to PSP) and then I have a script for processing photos for online that does the following:
Digital Camera Noise Removal (I've not found anything better than PSP for removing noise)
Scale - interactive so I can choose the output size
High Pass sharpen (radius 1, hard light, 50% blend)
USM (radius 1, 50%, clipping 5)
I found the combination of both types of sharpening gives the best results when scaling down to web sized images. The high pass recovers the general sharpness whilst the USM gets the fine details back.
