Got he printer about a week ago, very happy with it..except.
It takes a very long time to print an 8 x10.
Usually anywhere from 6 to 8 minutes..seems a little long for such a small print.
I'm on a Windows 7 machine,and printing through Qimage.
My quality setting is on."quality".{1440}
I use Canson Platine paper profile.

Anyone using this printer, and what kind of results are you getting.

Any help /advise will be appreciated,
Thanks,
Mike

I have the R3000 and love it. I've printed some 8 x 10s, never really timed it, never been in that big of a hurry for them I guess. For me the quality over-rides the time it takes. You may try different settings, lower resolution or quality settings and it should improve print speed and still be acceptable quality for your needs.

Dermit,

I understand what your saying,& I'm in no hurry either..sometimes I do need to print out 10-15 of the same image though...might have something to do with the newer technology on the R3000??

I'll give Epson a call,and see what they say...thanks,
Mike

Check the spec and see what it says about the amount of time to print one, they usually have something about that. But it is probably very dependant on your resolution and quality settings.

OK,just some clarification about the question I posted..for those of you using the r3000.
According to Epson tech support,
"When you have the r3000 set on a wi-fi connection, the printing times take longer.
If you use a usb connection,average time is about 90 seconds,for a 8 x10 print"

So,if your in a hurry, use the usb connection.

Hope this info helps,
Mike
