indian wedding ceremony i photographed over the weekend, in leicester...the venue was quite dark, and no really good places for portraits so i was limited with the location and the times as everything was running behind schedule! let me know what you guys think...!

There some really nice images there, although I think a lot of them are over sharpened for my taste.

thanks! i need to get my sharpening right for web...sometimes they come out too sharp..sometimes not sharp enough..its really annoying...!

also adding some pop to my photos is difficult at times too...sometimes my pics look great in bridge, but when i convert to jpeg they turn all flat on me, and i dont know why!

Awesome. Fully traditional Indian wedding with family dance, ornaments and tears.

Stunning images. Excellent natural light selection. I love them all. All I can say that I wish I could take such photos one day...I enjoyed those very much. I love Indian culture and always was fascinated with it and Indian traditions.

Hey Rahul,

Good set, like the before and after.
What type of PP work did you do? Care to share some of your techniques?

Shooting Indian events is difficult with so much color and reflecting ornaments (and even clothes) that play a havoc on the meterings. But your results are splendid.

Regards,
Pratik

all these shots were taken with my 5dc 85mm 1.2 but i shot most of them around 2.6 - 3.2, only a few at 1.4 or so....not many at all though!

as for the pp....i try to get most of it right in camera...so after all i did was exposure, wb & crop in bridge and some slight curves to make the photos pop and thats it...nothing else is done to these pics.

hope that helps!
