Anyone know somewhere online that prints onto glass/mirrors? I'd like to take a wedding picture of a bride getting dressed looking into a mirror, remove the part of the mirror she isn't in, and print it onto a mirror, where the actual mirror in the image reflected whoever was looking it in the image beside the bride. Anyone know somewhere that does this or prints onto clear acetate/film that could be adhered to a mirror?

I believe what you are looking for is glass etching. I am not sure if they are a national chain but in Michigan we have a store in the mall called "Things Remembered" which can etch/engrave just about anything. That is where I would start.

I didn't really want etched, I wanted printed like fast food chains used to do on glasses, found a place that did it, but it was $300 for a 11x14, a lot of money to try to see how something would look.

Hmm, you might try posting in the "Processing & Printing" sub-forum for more hits.

How about printing on vinyl, cutting out the part of the image that's the mirror, then adhering the vinyl to the glass/mirror? It's not exactly what you're envisioning, but it's probably not going to be $300, either.

I would imagine just about any screen printing place could do it. Well at least ones that do full color screen printing. Once the screens are made, it doesn't really matter what you're printing onto... t-shirts, plastic signs, mirrors, etc.

Ahhhh, I completely misunderstood what you were trying to do. Now that I have re-read your post I get it. Sounds like a very neat idea. Would love to know how it turns out if you are able to get it done.
