This was my first shoot with a model from model mayhem and my first time alone with the model. I've shot in some group shoots in the past, but got tired of not being able to make a connection with the model.

I had a difficult time posing the model. How do you remember poses? or is it primarily the models responsibility to be able to pose? Other than running out of ideas I had a really fun time and so did she. In this instance, her last shoot was a while ago so we were both in practicing mode.

Comments and Critiques greatly appreciated

Lighting: Mostly natural. No lights except for a 430 ex II on camera for a couple shots.
Camera: 7D
Lenses: Sigma 30mm 1.4f, Canon 1.8f, Old manual Vivitar 135mm 2.8 with nikon to canon mount and the 70-200mmm f4 L

2, 6,7 are all quite nice. Be careful with the up skirt in 5.

I like the set, I just wish some of them weren't so centered.
She's pretteh. Typically don't like Monroe piercings, but I think she pulls it off.

I have no idea why I was centering the shots so much, Im a big fan of negative space and for some reason that day I "forgot" the thirds rule

Ah well. When rules are broken, sometimes it works.
Looking them over again, centering works for me in 4. She gets framed by the plants.
Lends a nice effect to the shot doesn't it? :p
