Hi guys,

Just bought this camera. Despite having a chunky instruction booklet, it doesn't actually tell you how to do anything!

I'm not at home at the moment and will be away from a decent computer for a while so I can't use the disc that comes with it.

I'm by no means an expert with cameras so I'd love a bit of help to get started so that I can use the camera before I get a hold of the instructions properly.

Basically, can you tell me how to do the following:

- Set up for macro shots, especially watches.
- Set up for night shots, mostly landscape type stuff. Overlooking big lighted areas, looking over water etc. Shutterspeed and aperture (I think?!)

I'm also on holiday next week. Basic stuff like buildings and shots of friends seems pretty simple to do on the basic or easy setting or whatever the call it, but if anyone has any other tips for doing that sort of thing with this camera please let me know!

Thanks for any help!

Andy
