Another husband & wife team. I posted his wife's '68 Camaro SS Rally Sport yesterday.

Michael's '55 Chevy has a 350cid engine with a 383 Stroker-2 kit. Muncie 4-speed trans, 3.73 rear end, "Fat Man" rack & pinon steering, tilt wheel. He's had it for 4 years & recently sold it.
This is a shot of the print we made of it.

the print is very well done
did you change the colour especially ?
(I mean for a particular reason)

it's a much better colour anyway

the car looks sleeker in the print

:)

Thanks, Matt & Marie. I haven't seen the car since I shot it & I remembered the color as it is in the pics 2-5. Michael & his friends all remembered it as shown in the proof print in pic #1, so that's what we went with.

Sweet car, nice shots.
It's not often I can find fault with Franks's work, but the print still shows the trees in the background when you look through the car's windows. Looks kinda weird, should be easy enough to remove.

Good eye, Curtis. Green trees & green background. We decided to leave them in.

Nice shots of a very cool car Frank.......I keep noticing the difference in style between Oz and the US. Guys here really slam their cars to the deck, the US cars seem so high by comparison.

I'd be curious to know if the dreaded and annoying "speed bump" is a common reduced-speed area (such as parking lots) feature in Australia. The scrape-the-mufflers-on-a pebble crowd here seem to do their lowering more often than not (if their budget permits) with adjustable hydraulics, allowing them to raise and lower the car to negotiate speed bumps, steep driveways, and so forth.

Yep' Civis, there's plenty of gouges in the speed humps where I live lol and yes a lot of guys have airbags fitted.

Thanks, everyone!

Bad roads due to freeze/thaw in the Winter! :D :D Yes, we have "the dreaded and annoying "speed bumps" here too. Plus, pot holes, railroad tracks... When I was in high school, I remember my buddy slowing down to about 1mph to go over them. Seemed kind of stupid for a "performance car" to have to do that, & I've never lowered any of my cars. Looks vs. performance was never one of my priorities.
"Want to run me? I know just the road..." :D :D

...and yes a lot of guys have airbags fitted.

I can imagine how that must be! Taking a girl out on Sat night & the bags explode! :D

Agreed; as long as there aren't any rust holes, I just care if the car handles well, if it stops quickly - and if it launches hard when I introduce Mr. Foot to Mr. Floor.
