I got up early to get good parking and smaller crowds, then discovered that I left my 100-400L in the garage next to the car! So, since I wasn't going to drive all the way home, I made do with my 300L F4, and 24-105L. Shooting an airshow with only a prime telephoto for the flying demos was a bit of a challenge and I missed some opportunities I would have had with more reach (my 1.4 teleconverter was in the same bag as my 100-400), but I still got some photos I liked.

This MC-130P attempted to drop the USAF academy jump team, but the winds were out of limits (no surprise to anyone familiar with Travis)

Delighting the kids, the Jelly Belly Interstate Cadet put on a good comedy routine, and landed on this truck rolling down the runway

Nothing like a 7 hour training mission on a Saturday to make an airshow appearance(been there done that). The B-2 Stealth makes a brief appearance.

Pretty darn good considering you were "limited" to a 24-105mm and the 300mm L prime. You did very well and that 300mm looks quite sharp.

#1 rocks, could be cropped in a bit more so there is equal room on the L and R wings.
