One of the most well known abandoned buildings in Detroit, the Farwell Building, is one of the most spectacular abandoned places I've ever been to. With a light-well that funnells light through the middle of the building from the roof to the first floor, it offers some amazing light tones to highlight the many lines visible from nearly any angle.

Though I've been to this location before (snapping what was my favorite shot ever (external link)), I jumped at the opportunity to go back there. I do believe this might be my new favorite photo I've ever taken.

The mold up on that roof is plugging my nose up from here!

Good shot.

I can see why that's a favorite.

I would crop out the railing on the floor below me, when I looked at this shot it was the first place my eyes went. Other then that, I love it!

Interesting. That little bit of railing in the foreground gives this image another dimension in my opinion. I really like it :) The only thing I would have maybe done was trigger a flash remotely on the stairwell below to illuminate it.

Fantastic Shot! Awesome colors. I want to get more into UE hobby and am planning to enter an abandoned asylum here in GA.
