They were both shot on film, then developed onto a disc. I have only taken a few night shots, and in the first, the mitten on the left is backlit by the moon. In the second, the clouds are backlit by the moon.

However, if I bought more dedicated photography equipment and developed my skills more then I think I would have done much better. Railway Line between Marrakesh and Casablanca, Morocco.
