Been back about an hour and a half.

Was a great day - the Formula Ford boys are always top value, the racing is always close and sometimes they batter 7 bells out of eachother.

Here are a few of the eleventy billion I took today.

1. Bit too hard on the middle pedal into Druids

2. Clunk! This made a mess at McLaren

3. Nice low down shot into Clearways

4. First lap close quarter action at Clearways

Now going for a shave and a shower and then to the pub!

Will get some more up later, I think.

Thanks for not getting bored at my rubbish.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I wasn't really in the mood this weekend and took relatively few shots, only 72 on Saturday and I haven't even opened the camera bag to check on Sunday's lot. It's the end of a long season and to be honest - as much as I enjoy photography, I'm looking forward to the month and a half of complete rest I get from the 19th November onwards.

I'll see if I can dig something out this evening.

Just wandering how you managed to get shots from the outside of the track without fences in your way? Are you a man with a stepladder?

400mm lens and a fairly wide aperture - zoom through the fence and if any of it is in view the wide aperture takes it out of focus so much that you can barely see it in some and not at all in others.

Cheers for that! You managed to capture some stunning shots there.

Just being nosey but how much are the 400mm lenses...looking for one to replace my 75-300
