Just had my first experience using Canon professional services (CPS), all I can say is WOW..
My 24-105 F4 IS gave up on me during a recent wedding and as this is a really busy time for us wedding photographers I needed it repaired ASAP but I did have a 24-105 to borrow for a wedding or two from a friend.
After a email and call to Canon at Elstree service centre I sent off the lens on Monday had a call on Tuesday confirming they had received it and a standard charge was needed at £104.00 whatever the repair!
Had a email and text on Wednesday saying the lens had been repaired and had been sent out via UPS with tracking info.
Just got the lens delivered very well packed with a receipt explaining what had been replaced and to be honest the lens feel like new as the zoom is more firm again and overall looks as if its been cleaned and serviced.
For £104.00 I think this is very good service and being a gold CPS member they did get it sent back to me in the 3 day time frame.
