I'm working on a project to put a poster together so that I can present it to the local BMX shop and try and get some pay through them. Here are some of the initial photos. I have several other sessions to shoot where I have some cool ideas planned for two shots that have the potential to be the center piece.

Some nice pictures in there, the only thing I noticed was in# 3 you lit the ground but not the rider.

That one was really difficult. I have a friend standing behind the stack with the light stand holding it as close as he could. You can't really tell from the photo, but the incline on the hill is steep. I could barely find a place to keep myself up as a was ducking down next to the stack where the rider was coming off of. I need a more powerful flash for that, but trying to get my larger lights setup in that location would be a real task.

1 and 2 the composition is alright, but nothing really pops, 3 and 5 are the ones that look best in my opinion. The slow shutter on 6 and 7 really doesn't do it for me, and the tricks themselves are pretty unimpressive, but that's out of your hands.

1, I would have prefered a crop that is not as tight,
2, ass shot? why?
3, I woud have prefered the rider higher in the frame, less centered
4, again, less centered
5, my favorite, if i would have changed something is having a bit more of the take off(vertical shot) But it,s great as is
6, would have been cool it it was a decent trick
7, timing? at least wait that they're in the middle of their bunny hop

Sorry for my english i'm french
and that is just my opinion
If it's for a paid job i'd recommend you to take a better look at some bmx magazines to see what framing / angles they use, every trick has it's angle. As for lightning keep it that way!
