I love all the Milky Way photos and just had to share this one with you guys.
This is Done in South Africa and took 30 Photos, 30 sec exp, ISO400, 17mm kit lens. Stacked using deep sky stacker.

Aug 23, 2011 15:01 | #3 Thx! The camera was pointed straight up into space. Here in South Africa the Milky Way is nice and clear right above your head in winter time. Getting foreground would be close to impossible.

You just take your photos and import them into Deep Sky stacker. The program does the rest. It auto allign the images according to stars it identify.
