If you guys invited your resistant wives to attend a shoot as observers and chaperones, might it help them understand?

maybe if its a fun none commercial shoot i would but not for paid work.

never EVER mix personal life/love life with work

Oh I got lucky. Believe me I know that lol. I am sure my "hobby" would NOT be as much fun without her! I have pics on my Flickr stream. See if that works. Oh NSFW so just be aware.

Your now on my contact list in flickr...

No? Some couples run businesses together, even photography businesses.

That's fine. I think most people mean just bring your spouse to a shoot so they can watch which I don't agree with. If they don't trust me then its probably time to move on.

My wife has said it makes sense for me to branch out into this area, i can shoot models, clothed or lingerie, she doesn't even mind topless but that's where the line is drawn... also she said she would never want to see the work / be at the shoot. As she put it 'at the end of the day, you come home to me. i trust you enough to do it'

I think that is a healthy attitude for her to have. I hope it works out for you.

Not only does my wife not mind, she would actually find pretty girls for me to shoot and assist me in the shoots. She is a beautiful woman herself and used to be a model and actress, so she has no confidence issues. She's also attracted to women too, as well as totally trusts me, so it has never been an issue between us.

Before my wife, I had ex-GF's who had confidence and trust issues, and for someone like me who loves combining my love of photography with my adoration of feminine beauty, there's no way I would be happy with anyone other than someone like my wife.

It's work . I bring in the bacon. I don't turn into a creepy photographer like Terry Richardson.

If you guys want sex... you get it elsewhere. Models should get represented by agencies to protect themselves from those "wannabe" photographers.

If you're married and you wife don't want you to shoot females....shoot male models. If you don't want to ...then obviously that's a problem.

If you love modelling photography then it wouldn't matter if it's male or female....it's all art.

I have seen photographers who are in it because they want to date hot chicks..... those are not photographers.
