Definitely getting what I was looking for. Now I jsut need to learn to use it and get my focus right for self portraits.. These are all from one pics. Just a few little changes and some crops. I would rather see the camera location square to the wood paneling, I'm not sure if the AF is really nailing your eyes. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

But I have always understood to not crop through the middle of a limb. In your case the leg. I would have left some open space below your leg. The bottoms of those boards aren't exactly square so they are just leaning the way they want to.. Not worth it to me to maneuver those huge board to the miter saw to straighten them out. -Sac

For #1 I would have either cropped just above the axle of the chair or shot it with your whole right shoe visible. Richard
