Exporting from LR to PS5 sharpness question

I have noticed when I work with raw files in LR and I export a file to PS5 for extra pp, I lose applied sharpness when I open the tiff file in LR after saving it in ps5. I have been doing it this way by reapplying sharpness to the tiff file in LR. Is this normal?

Compare sharpness at 100% (1:1) view. Should be identical.

it is not, even at viewing at full size you can tell a very small change in sharpness.

Library or develop module? Did you render 1:1 preview after re-importing the .psd?

Yes, it is in develop mode. I have no problems dealing with raw files only with tiff files after saving them in cs5 back to LR3.

Never heard of it, nor seen it happen. You're not applying any settings, right?

ok so I do my most editing in LR including sharpening then if I need some additional touch ups in cs5, i right click and choose to open that image in CS5. now when im done editing i save it in cs5 and it comes u as tiff file in LR and now without sharpening. Im also thinking maybe its degrading the image quality in cs5? it looks sharp in photoshop.
