Here are a couple shots of Jenna from our shoot yesterday. C&C welcome. Always looking to learn and improve.

Aug 05, 2011 17:26 | #3 Is image editing ok? I think it could benefit from some retouching. First one is nice, but I would have preferred a reflector or flash on her to brink the exposure of the background down a bit. Nice work though, just needs a tiny bit of honing imho.

The shadow from her nose goes almost straight across her face which tends to make her nose look bigger than it is. A good way to evaluate the light elevation is to look at how the shadow line from her nose runs on her cheek. If it tends to follow the crease from her cheek toward the corner of her mouth you are in the right area. You can search for rembrandt lighting to get a better explanation. Name: Kevin

Approximately how long did it take you to make these changes? Maybe 5 minutes. It was a quick edit to show some ideas. You can get by going quickly on a small image but it would take a bit longer on the full size image to get the details looking good. Name: Kevin
