Auction was sitting at $800.. typically I see them sell for $1,000. So what the heck...I bid $810.01 thinking I'd get outbid for sure. Well dang it...I won the auction.

So use it and love it, or turn around and put it back on ebay for a grand.

Congrats! I like the 45 TS-E but, I just wish it had the double rotation similar to the 17 TS and 24 TS MK II.

What's the matter, not told the better half you have spent the cash or do you owe the money to the mob?

Enjoy the lens! :)

It's a feeling of ambivalence my man.

I'm happy I found a lens for a great price yet annoyed that I spent money where I really didn't need to. Then again, it's like that with every lens, so.

I don't even know what that means, yet.

I totally get it. I threw a low bid on a 5D2 not expecting to win it and guess what. :-) I had some 'splaining to do.

Michelle - 7D, 40 STM, 400 f/5.6, 500 f/4.5, NEX, and going Nikon FF - eager to see what 7D2 brings!

Not that I know of.

Out of curiosity, I got into manual focus lens around April this year. So I bought a box full of old SLR gears from Craigslist for $100.. messed around with some and sold it all on Ebay for a profit... what started as a curiosity turned into a fund source for new equipment.

Since then, I've made several more purchases of old gears getting dumped. So I buy them when I can and put it on ebay. So my paypal account has been getting quite healthy.

The better half couldn't careless...except my office (I work from home) is full of boxes and old camera stuff.. and smells like an old house.
