Black Bellied Whistling Duck Family

Black Bellied Whistling Ducks seem to have very large families. Must be natures way of making sure some survive the Alligators and Hawks.

Nice set, Ira. Love the little ones. We've had some of those ducks at Corkscrew recently, but I was never able to get a clear shot of one. I'm jealous as evidently they aren't seen that often in Florida, let alone with youngsters. Nice job!

You really need to visit the central east coast of Florida, for these ducks are very common here. These were in the Viera Wetlands.
