I understand that the tight crop is intentional, but I don't like it. Here eyes are not in a very ideal position, in my opinion. Also her hair looks a little over-sharpened.

Ya - I realize this crop isn't for everyone - but my aim here was to explore contour of her face ... I don't sharpen hair a lot ever - the shot was pretty sharp to start with and slight bump overall ... her eyes - again not for everyone but for me it lends to the contour approach ...
thx for good constructive criticism (always appreciated)

here is a shot from a slightly shallower angle and without the tight crop on the back of the head ... (and - slight extra noise IS intentional)

as always - c&c appreciated
Thx for looking

Everyone has an opinion, mine is - I like what you are doing here. It does seem to be over sharpen, and the noise seems too high for me normally, but I like what you have done. The lighting is good - however, it appears that you have lost some detail / definition around the chin and neck - which is not bad. The other issue that I like is the hint of shadows on her face. Keep it up as they say!
