From a photo shoot with Jackie, she wanted something Rihanna themed as she does impersonations of her.

Shot in my home studio. Mix of hard and soft lights, and some Photoshop work for flair and spot

Overall, it is a great photo.

My only critique is her arm. It seems that her forearm is overexposed? I go from her shoulder, which is very warm, and nicely exposed, then the travel up to her forearm, and it's almost as if her skin is getting lighter. Maybe the lighting is too harsh on her arm?

I agree, the lighting and processing is such that her body is exhibiting too many variations in tone.

Is that a fake light added in post? Coz that's killing the shot for me and so is the added flare.

Based on the comments I received here and another site, I reworked the image a bit.

I think it looks better now, any comment better? worst?

That lense flare (is it one?!) is killing this photo. And I think it could even be cropped tighter, a lot of dead space on the bottom.

Is that big quarter circle in the bottom right corner "fake" lens flare? (along with the 2 white dots one being on her arm) If so, take them out as fast as you can! I haven't seen any fake lens flare that look even decent. Because they all look digitally created, unnatural.

The reworked image does look a lot better, but have to agree that the PS flare is not helping the image. Try a version without the flare and see what it looks like to compare. Also, see if you can reduce the glare/highlights on her forehead, nose and cheek. They seem a bit bright.

Many things I really don’t like from the pose; the triangle shape is suppose to draw the viewer into her face, but the lighting puts too much emphasis on the arm and distracts from her face. The Photoshop effects are killing this from the ugly white spot on her arm to the fake flare; shiny forehead, nose, and cheekbone are very distracting; maybe add a layer to fade out the skin glare…She is strikingly beautiful

alot going on in this photo. It looks like a flyer for a nightclub IMO. For starters ditch that lens flare.
