Mosport Grand Prix spin-out

I just happened to be looking in the right direction with the camera ready when this car started it's spin-out. I caught 16 frames in the burst, all in focus. I saved and processed every 3rd frame, starting with the 1st and ending with the last. What follows are those 6 frames. All are full frame with no cropping.

1. This is where I picked up the beginning of the spin...

4. Even closer with more tire smoke...

5. It's getting pretty close here when it slides into the dirt. More tire smoke and skid marks very prominent now and lots of dirt and stones in the air...

6. This was the time for me to 'bug out' as it was just making contact with the wall of tires. I was just a short way inside the tire wall, behind the pylon that is visible in the foreground.

Looks good! I wanted to attend the race this year but was limited on time/money so made no sense to go. Maybe next year!
