Very nice, Frederique! Good exposure, and you did well by shooting while there was still some blue in the sky.

The top right corner seems blurry - kind of odd, as the rest is okay.

If you wanted to, you could play with the perspective tools in Photoshop to straighten the leaning buildings.

I think this is a real progression over your daytime pics of the same location, which weren't bad at all. Good work!

slejhamer,

Thank you, I am getting there. I keep going to the same spot and taking better shots.

Here is another one I took there

Great picture of Central Park. Top right is just a bit blurry, but the rest of the image looks great. I don't think I would adjust the perspective at all

You need to pay attention to the blurring problem first, otherwise your shots will never be perfect. It is clearly visible on both pictures!

or not clearly visible ?

(because its blurred )

: )

henk , I agree with you, as I am sure does niloniglist but since he is saying how he is doing many changes and is seeing more of what needs changing in certain photos, I thought it would be ok to say
= yes I liked what he is doing so far,
thats all.

henk,
me just saying I like the shots (and I do) won't make things go backward.
I already said about the blurring. the pictures are getting better
I like the improvements

thanks frederique
and henk

merely hinting to a technical problem here. not the content of the picture.

ha ha ha
: )

but I am really sorry frederique
I made the same mistake with andrey in moscow,
........ the other way round though
I thought 'he' was a woman
and then I saw differently..... last post.
and I had replied to a few posts thinking it was a woman

I have a relation called 'audrey' and I must have mistaken that name with 'andrey'

thank you for all your chirpy posts,
now that I know you are a woman
I can go to town and say what I feel ,slightly better

I enjoyed your pictures on g3 very much
and you have taken some lovely ones
especially that lovely bit of fluff (dandelion)
and that duck too.
: )
thanks a lot

marie

Yes, I have to agree they are excellent - something I yet have to do (night shots). Central Park looks so peaceful.

Regards,
Peter
