The weather guy was right, isolated showers... Caught this driving through southern New Mexico on an otherwise clear day. I haven't really messed around in landscape photography too much so I thought I would share. What do you think? More to come soon hopeuflly

Oh wow, it's a good job you weren't caught out walking around in that. I think the scene is greatly exposed, the only issue I see is the buildings/trailers in the distance and the cars. If you could clone them out it may de-clutter the image a lot and focus the viewer on the mountains, the rainburst and the landscape.

Hereagain, right place, right time. Lucky you. Nice job for what had to be an instantaneous photo decision. KUDOS to you.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Thanks you all for the comments!

Karl, thanks for the observations. I am constantly trying to critique my own work and trying to catch details like that. This time I was working on the traffic, but it was just frequent enough that I couldn't catch an empty road. I didn't even really notice the buildings. I will work on cloning those out though. Good observation

Cucamonga, this very much was right place/right time. My Wife and I had just moved to the area and had made the afternoon trip out to white sands. We caught this on our way home. Definitely a target of opportunity.
