what was you zoom tonight probably 120 mm? if so the you r speed should be 1/125, you can go as low as 1/50 (1/100, !/80 1/60,) not 1/20, thus the blurry image due to camera shake movement ..also how did you focus the subject is moving did you se AI servo?

Perseid Meteor shower...tomorrow after 2 am will be the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, expect to see 40 + meteors per hour..unfortunately it will be full moon, tonight the moon is 96% and took this hand held shot with the 100-400 mm

oh yes. I was at iso 6400 f/4 and 1/20-50 for most the shots. THe lighting was not very good And yes i was using AI servo

Thanks I gave Jake the setting for full moon shot hand held..many people even after shooting for many years cannot get a good moon shot , our fricks will show his parents how good he is..

Jake from 2 am or earlier in hawaii look north and you can see 40 meteors, shooting stars in an hour amazing show...

what was your focal length, using the 70-200, what was the zoom length.
