It is suppose to be priced lower, it is Canon's lowest line.

AngryCorgi wrote in post #12921782 (external link)
Disaster? I don't get how a low price = disaster...are you referencing a review or something?

nrowensby wrote in post #12921784 (external link)
It's the same reason T3i's are cheaper than 60D's; 60D's cheaper than 7D's; 7D's cheaper than 5D2's; 5D2's cheaper than 1D4's... It doesn't mean any of those cameras are a "disaster"

sorry should rephrase that- the reviews i've seen are horrible, from what i've seen it has nothing that you cant get from the t1i, and it looks cheap.

the disaster is the pricing is dropping faster than any other model i've seen - new- most of canons line will hold its value but this one has not.

i dont understand why canon went so fast with the t line anyway, do people really need 18mp?

If i take a 5x7 printed picture from a 5d3 and an 40d and all the settings were the same, focal length, iso, ect... could you tell?

I think you maybe misunderstand? (Or I am misunderstanding)

The T3 is NOT the same like as the T1i, T2i, T3i etc It is the next Canon in like after the XS. It was introduced pretty cheap.

I think that's fairly typical of little kids when they get their shots. She'll appreciate it later in life though. ;)

d90 prices are coming down..... so tempting, must resist!

Calling tomorrow on a 40d in Myrtle Beach - gripped 525.

D90s are fine cameras. Tough to find them for under $600 though. I really enjoyed mine while I had it. Nice weight, size and IQ.

If you want to taste paste or glue, try their poi....enjoy the roasted pig

I actually liked the poi when we went to Maui. I was told by a few friendly locals we met, to use it like you would a condiment. Personally, I liked it on its own too.

Stick with the XXD line or higher, unless you need video. IMO, All the Rebels feel plasticky and cheap.
