westerners love to....add sugar to anything. Have you seen how big they are? ;);)

HEY!!! I REPRESENT THAT!!!

Actually, I rarely use sugar, and never on my cereal.

White rice with brown sugar and milk is quite good, however. Much better than with ordinary granulated sugar. It's even better with maple sugar.

Good outing so far Geoff. Nice cedar wax wing shot :D

Thanks!

I had to crop that particular shot in a fair bit to get that look. There were some rather prickly wild rose bushes between me and the tree it was perched in....hehe.

Everytime I use C1Pro, I love it more and more for editing my RAW files. Its so quick and easy to use. Going through the original 66 shots to cull out the unwanted ones (most of 'em) took only a matter of minutes.

I looked at getting a 15" MBP, but the one I wanted would have been well over 2k.

Have to find the happy medium in those choices :)

Never disappointing mike. I love the black and white shots! Do you use silver fx?

Geoff_Shawcross wrote in post #12922329 (external link)
Excellent wedding shots Mike!

Thanks, no, all done solely in Lightroom. I have however started using the Alienskin Exposure 3 plugin for my latest wedding, I like what it does so far.

Always an obstacle when shooting birds! That is good you found a system that is working for you well. Ive never used C1Pro and now that i think about i dont know much about it either.

Mike, I heartily recommend Silver Efex Pro2

A photo from a couple of nights ago:

I know it is a repeat photo from a couple of the other threads, but I haven't gone through other photos, yet.

It's a great program...only cost me $300 (CAN). They have some really good info on their website about it, as well as a 30 day trial ( http://www.phaseone.com/ (external link) ). There are some really good tutorial and info videos on their Youtube channel too. (PhaseOneDK (external link)). Check it out.

Is Silver Efex standalone or LR plugin-able?
