Have you seen the gru gels? Similarto the cliff bloks

Yeah, I tried those before I tried the Clif Bloks actually. I think I like the Gu Chews better, but at least at the shop they had more flavors in the Bloks.

I have some actual GU at home too, but I havn't been brave enough to try it.

I think so....

I think i might have enough material for my review...Which will be 2 parts (A written part with examples and a video part where i will discuss the lens in detail)

It's a good lens, it's not a superb lens, but you can't expect that from a $500 lens.

As of right now what i can say is at f/1.8 its pretty "Eh" in terms of optics, But stop it down just a hair to f/2 and suddenly the lens becomes fantastic....

I'll have to look at mine more carefully. I havn't used it much other than for just random shooting, and so it's really either been at 1.8 or much higher. I'll have to do some comparison stuff at 1.8 vs 2, etc.

I dunno, the biggest thing i noticed is at f/2 the CA is substantially reduced and things sharpen up really good

But these are just my observations actually shooting the thing, i didnt like whip out a sharpness test chart or anything....I've kept it at f/2 85% of the time however and really liked it
