How it going Mel?

Alright. I'm tired. Suddenly working full time is hard to get used too. And I played two baseball games last night, so I'm tired and sore.

Only takes 4 days for regular mail to get to me from the UK. I have no issues with it, nor does my family.

huwaa...that's cool I bet it would take a month or so towards here, can you track it Harm?

The pronunciation has to do with local phonetics.

In countries where the national language pronounces "i" as the English "ee", it tends to be pronounced "Nee-kon."

In countries where the national language pronounces "i" as the English "eye", it tends to be pronounced "Nigh-kon."

Nikon USA, being an American company, pronounces it "Nigh-kon" in all their ads, and that's good enough for me.

yeah I pronounce it NIKON (NiiiiiKON) hehehe just like Nee-Kon..

The 28mm 1.8

KenjiS wrote in post #12953939 (external link)
I dunno, the biggest thing i noticed is at f/2 the CA is substantially reduced and things sharpen up really good

But these are just my observations actually shooting the thing, i didnt like whip out a sharpness test chart or anything....I've kept it at f/2 85% of the time however and really liked it

I haven't played with mine as much as well. I find 1.8 on it hard to grab focus. I do like the low-light and AF on it. ;)
