Well, it seemed that way. But when I tried to boot into windows that next morning it freaked out, even only having 1 core enabled.

Are you going to RMA the mobo?

Brandy w/e your doing it is working. I really like the feel of your images. I would eliminate one of the catch eyes. Two is a bit distracting.

I agree. One catch light is enough for this shot. :)

Okay a few things; I got some feedback that I clipped my blacks and didn't have enough warmth in my set from yesterday (I got over zeleause with my newfound love for Kuboto Actions) so I re-proccssed this bad boy:

Much happier with it I think. Should I take out the reflector reflection in her eyes? I'm not used to two catchlights... it's kinda weird!

So then my Metz flash came in the mail from Adorama!! Love it so far tho it took me a while to figure it out. I can not for the life of me figure out what the glory is in TTL? Maybe it's just not working right because its older tech. I got the 5D classic and the Metz 54-4 (canon specific so E-TTL is supposed to work or some such crap). When I put the camera on MANUAL and keep the SS around 200, and put the FLASH on AUTO it works. When I switch the flash to TTL, its over-exposed. I also have no idea how in the world to make the second little fill flash on the bottom front to work, the manual is kinda useless in that regard. I gotta figure it out ASAP!!!

I'm no flash expert and was in the same boat getting overexposed faces with the flash. What I did was meter the background (underexpose a bit even) and set the flash (430ex ii in my case) to ETTL and just click. Looked good enough for me.

Here's a vid tutorial that helped me understand some of the concepts.

Busy. Tiring. Been doing quite a bit of stuff, some easy, some more taxing physically and mentally. I get a lot of off-site time though. I do a lot of fleet maintenance, and we take care of the fleets for NOVA, Suncor, and CF Industries (formally Terra). I do a lot of truck transfers where I take one of our loaner trucks, drive to the plant and switch it for one of the work trucks. Take the truck back, do work on it, and then it gets switched for another truck or get the loaner back.

You sound real busy. Get some sleep girl. :)

That's true... I don't. That would be a very brave or stupid move though, since it's not like I just met her out in public. :p

Doubt that. Bike staff having "stage names"? Funny if they did.

The problem is I went on a Friday at like 3 which I'm normally at work.. I hope she doesn't just always get off at 4 or something...

So the one time she was there was Friday at 3? You can try weekends next time.

Well sometimes it's good that there's work to do. Busy days makes the day seem to go faster. ;)

Yeah... but I think I'll do it through newegg and not ASUS, but it could be like two weeks. :/

It's definitely good to be busy. Today was kinda chaotic and disorganized. I had a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) to finish this morning which included installing a bed liner and back-up alarm. In the middle of that we got a call from Suncor that they had a truck with no power steering and they wanted it taken care of right away. I had to run to NOVA with the loaner, pick up a truck and bring it back. Grab the next loaner and run to Suncor and get this other truck, decide whether I could drive it or need it towed. I drove it back. While I was gone the first level apprentice went home 'sick' and I had to take over a job he was doing. And then I had to run to a meeting at the bank to set up a new account (the dealership does direct deposit to one bank only). I ended up staying late for about 40 mins tonight to get caught up.

For the most part customers have to bring their vehicles in. These trucks that I'm picking up are work trucks that belong to large corporations. NOVA Chemicals is our big contract. Part of the contract is that we provide a loaner truck so they aren't short a truck, and we do the driving.

We often do pick-up/drop-off customer vehicles for individual people. Particularly if the customer is spending a lot of money or is having to bring the vehicle in a lot in a short time.

It's all about keeping customers happy and coming back.

From todays quick ride. I focused on keeping my cadence up with my cousin joining me for his second ride. Worked out great as i averaged around 10mph but kept my cadence around 100. That was a perfect combo for him to keep up with me and not tire out.

All shots with the S95 :D

Omar, I keep drooling over the new AR4. The color scheme is perfect. It's got blue, black, and white. On top of that, it's all carbon.:p

If you really like then go for it ;) :D
