For the most part customers have to bring their vehicles in. These trucks that I'm picking up are work trucks that belong to large corporations. NOVA Chemicals is our big contract. Part of the contract is that we provide a loaner truck so they aren't short a truck, and we do the driving.

We often do pick-up/drop-off customer vehicles for individual people. Particularly if the customer is spending a lot of money or is having to bring the vehicle in a lot in a short time.

It's all about keeping customers happy and coming back.

From todays quick ride. I focused on keeping my cadence up with my cousin joining me for his second ride. Worked out great as i averaged around 10mph but kept my cadence around 100. That was a perfect combo for him to keep up with me and not tire out.

Do a high cadence interval 5-10+ minutes of 120rpm.

I did that yesterday... it was brutal. :/

Well I got my motherboard pulled out, and lost two of the insulating washers for my new cooler in the process... yay..

Its tough for me to do that because my road is packed with other riders. So i have to keep my speed low. Even at my lowest gear i catch up to people and have to slow it down by stopping my pedaling or feather the break  If i went around 120 i would bounce around in my seat a lot. If my roads were empty it wouldn't be a problem as i could up shift 1 or 2 gears and get to 120.

Seems like the build from hell now.

It is! And it's rather difficult when the customers are coming in upset/annoyed because their vehicle is letting them down, and then we have to tell them how much it's gonna cost them. A lot of the normal maintenance stuff keeps the customers satisfied when everything goes well, but when disaster strikes, we've got to do what it takes to keep them from abandoning the dealership/brand.

Okay a few things; I got some feedback that I clipped my blacks and didn't have enough warmth in my set from yesterday (I got over zeleause with my newfound love for Kuboto Actions) so I re-proccssed this bad boy:

Much happier with it I think. Should I take out the reflector reflection in her eyes? I'm not used to two catchlights... it's kinda weird!

So then my Metz flash came in the mail from Adorama!! Love it so far tho it took me a while to figure it out. I can not for the life of me figure out what the glory is in TTL? Maybe it's just not working right because its older tech. I got the 5D classic and the Metz 54-4 (canon specific so E-TTL is supposed to work or some such crap). When I put the camera on MANUAL and keep the SS around 200, and put the FLASH on AUTO it works. When I switch the flash to TTL, its over-exposed. I also have no idea how in the world to make the second little fill flash on the bottom front to work, the manual is kinda useless in that regard. I gotta figure it out ASAP!!!

your kid stuff is great Brandy :D

Well bouncing around is part of the reason you do it, you will get used to the higher cadence and the more you do it the less you will bounce around.

If it's ever open enough for you, you should try it though. It's a good drill.
