That's the thing with my Nikon 14-24. I have to guesstimate the aperture. The adapter has these indicator marks to give an idea at what aperture you're dialed into. This is where LV comes in handy and I use the DOF preview while doing this. With Zeiss glass, the auto aperture is a God send. If you want to do a 35mm for your Nikon, try the Zeiss 35 f2 ZF.

ahh I see  35mm f/2 doesn't seem to cut it for me Julian... too expensive and not as fast as I want to. I could get the Samyang for $450 or so locally but I would have liked it if I could set the aperture in camera  anyway I'll focus on the 16-35mm first  I just need another $400 and I am good to go :D

Because some people want white whole wheat or whatever that is :lol:

hahahaha that doesn't make sense at all

I am trying to eat healthy breakfast ;) but I can't get away from bread so I might just eat Whole wheat from now on... at least for breakfast that is.

Almost all companies have bikes in that price range. :)

I see that they have an Orca with Di2. What's the price like on that.

The only Di2 orca is the Dura Ace Di2 which is a bit out of your budget. :p

Most kids don't like to eat bread that looks brown. ;) Whole grain bread is expensive and healthier imho.

White bread definitely tastes better though haha

whole wheat bread is all my kid knows ;)

MARTINNNN!!!!

I used to eat whole wheat from time to time but find it uhhhmmm too dull for my liking hehe yesterday I bought a whole wheat loaf bread and so far its a bit soft so I like it :D

so I am thinking of eating it for breakfast everyday if I could, pairing it with eggs or low fat whatever things to get my metabolism going very early.

Same...

I use my 50 1.4 like 75% the time now. I would really like a wider fast prime

yeah you could probably find almost any bike cheaper than Orbea or Aragon,Kestrel,Kuota,Blue.....

the frames are designed by Zeus and forged by Gods therfore demand the higher prices!

Here's my rationale. Your D700 is great at lowlight and bumping up the ISO isn't going to hurt you.:) PLus, I'm not fanatical using a lens at f1.2-f1.8 anymore. You saw my image of my daughter using the Zeiss 100 @ f2.8. It's bcoz' I pushed the stroller where light was available and took the shot. ;)
