We'll have to find something to go to. I'm working now so I can afford to take a road trip or two :D And I don't work weekends! I may even be able to bring my nephew.

see if there is anything half way and let me know the dates, could be a plan

Certainly not! The scary part is that we've suddenly started having them around here. It used to be that every 15 years or so there'd be one pop up. We've had three major ones in the area this summer. One of them went over top of the house and touched down in a field just a mile from us, travelled 11 kms and took out several hydro towers. We lucked out with that one, no one was injured and no homes were damaged to any extent. The hydro system, fields, and the odd barn took all the damage.

:( glad you were safe!

And the founder of the RAW club, who was later banned from the RAW club for shooting in JPEG.

Same...

I use my 50 1.4 like 75% the time now. I would really like a wider fast prime

Check out Kenji's review, then. ;)

I dunno if I would enjoy it... right now I have 2 ZOOM lenses and I can already see some strain on my 70-200mm's mount because of the frequency I change lens when I shoot :o:o

Seriously, the mount is "wearing". That doesn't sound right.

4pm this afternoon an F2 tornado hit Goderich, a town that's less than two hours from me. That is where I went camping two weeks ago. Major damage to a very beautiful town :(

The tornado that touched down a mile from my house was also an F2.

that's too bad, i didn't hear about this till now :(
