To answer the Op's question,you need to take a photo using a wide aperture with light in the backgroud,ie trees.

The only improvement was being able to capture the insect in #2 from a better angle. At the current angle, I had to spend an extra second or so to determine what insect it was and where was the head. The head in this image blends into the body and is difficult to separate from the body... then again it may be time for me to adjust eyeglass prescription! In any case, great captures! Regards, Frank
