Took about a trip yesterday today (well I guess yesterday now) to a waterfall. Let me know what you think.

I know that it is the "fashion" to shoot waterfalls the milky way but personally I would like to see a little bit "wilder" water. It is a tad too smooth for my taste - especially in #3 where the bottom/secundary fall looks unnatural. My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."

Waiting to get myself a BW 10 Stop ND Filter so I can go out and try some long exposure like this. Hurry up postman! thanks! i had my CPL on with a .9 ND, so 5 stops of filter to get this. They were about 8-15 seconds usually. i do plan on getting a BW110 soon myself, but i think ill get a GND first. the 5 stops seems to do enough for now. msu_1972 wrote in post #12910494 very beautiful!! i just love the smooth flowing effects of the waterfall. where is this place located at? thanks! its brasstown falls, sc. Love how the sharp leaves contrast with the flat water surface and smooth waterfall. There must have been no wind at all to get the leaves that sharp with such a long exposure! https://www.flickr.com/photos/jackhenriques/
