I am looking for a place to get my guest books printed after an e-session so people can have them for everyone to sign at their wedding. I have seen some nice examples but haven't found a good printer yet.

I am Canadian and I want the paper to be able to be written on nicely with a pen.

Any help?

Also if anyone has any nice examples I would love to see some.

I get my printing done at either a local pro lab (photos) or a offset printing house (everything else).
To get from base print to a book or album, I enlist the help of a professional bookbinder, specialized in traditional hand bound books.

I have thought about getting my own printer, but to get anywhere near the quality that the pro labs and print houses can deliver, would cost about the same as a small car. And having it done "out of house" frees up a lot of time.

I am looking to find an actual company name etc. Please there is way to much on Google to figure out what's good and what's not.

That I can not help you with.

But any decent company will be able to show you samples of their work, just as we have portfolios. Look through their websites, and then arrange a meeting with those that you like. Look at some of their work and decide which company best suits your needs.

Naturally, this limits you to fairly local companies (of which there are plenty in Ottawa), but you know exactly what you are getting.

Personally, I would never use an online company. I want to be able to see and feel what I'm paying for. I need to know that every order will be perfect.

It will be more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

E-Books I print and bind myself in house.
Red River Papers has a wide selection of double sided photo papers.
I have a small U-Bind system that uses covers that I buy in bulk. The covers cost me about $7.00 and to print a 20 page book costs about 10.00.
So, the book ends up costing $17.00 and I use it as a "throw in" for booking an engagement session with me.
