I managed to get him to sit still enough to snap a picture! I like it because you really see his big, brown eyes and lips - also his messy, blond hair. :)

I personally like the BW better myself. And I love how the hair leaves the DOF on the left. He's a real cutie.
The one thing that bugs me is the tight crop on the chin. I would preferred just a tad under the chin.

But, like you said, this age is extremely difficult to photograph. I know first hand. :)

Thanks and good point about the chin. I will have to double-check my RAW file and see if I can adjust it, but that may be how it was captured.
