Sorry but my thread was shut down because I tried to link the story and sandisk together and one mod closed it I have changed my title now and will post this one Conspiracy picture.

In the yellow part you see in the picture it looks like a (dioptric wheel) but on the Canon 7D there is nothing there!, also in the blue part it looks melted but in the bottom pricture there is a melted button, in the white part both of the 7D button's are melted but in the bottom picture it's not melted.

Very Strange pictures

Thank you to the mods for let me post the pictures here.

I have no idea what's going on in that picture...whatever it is you are trying to show.
An explanation would be nice.

That picture could be football plays for all I know. Is that supposed to be a burnt camera?

So are you saying that the burnt body is what the original 7D was suppose to be?
Does it matter? :D

Read all this thread
https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1078123

Thank you;)

But if you don't want to read all the 5 replies read this one from a member.alt4852

most of it was just added to highlight the absurdity of concluding that there is any sort of conspiracy at all. since you're having trouble grasping why i'm associating this thread to other conspiracies, i'll lay out the actual claims along with what they're implying for you so it's not as complicated to understand:

petra, an active and well-regarded member here on the forums here since 2005 falsified a story about a car fire and backed it up with fabricated photographic evidence in order to improve the branding image of sandisk, a multimillion dollar corporation that already possesses market dominance in the industry. this liar from sweden purported this hoax by burning two canon 7D's which are melted in different ways, and used the photos to support this lie. luckily the thread creator noticed the inconsistencies in the photos of the destroyed camera and brought to light how the story must be a lie because his investigation shows how the eye cup does not look the same at different angles and a piece of metal is discolored.

the motive behind all of this is increased publicity for sandisk since they have multiple stories covered over the last few years of their products surviving damage. no, don't consider the fact that they supply roughly 40% of the compact flash cards to the market and that it's statistically probable that their products encounter disastrous events more often than any other brand. the reputation of another person along with probability can easily be debunked by perceived inconsistencies in two photos on the internet. logical conclusion: CONSPIRACY!

yes, that makes perfect sense.

..the alternative is believing that the story is more likely than not to be true and that time spent over-analyzing motives and photographs on the internet is a poor use of your time. much like typing out a lengthy response to someone who tries to call your sarcasm out for being logically unsound. man, i need to re-evaluate how i spend my time on the internet
