Hi everyone,
We are having a photo contest here at work and I need some ideas on what I can do. We have 16 different categories and can upload as many pics as we want. Here are the categories - Celebration, Play Time, Expressions, Adrenaline, Curious, Spirit of the Company, Take a Break, Fame/Recognition, Unique, Mischief, Diversity, Teamwork, Campus/Infrastructure, Brainstorm, Chats, Rush Hour. This is an IT company, so maybe that will help with ideas. The top 5 winners will receive a 5d mark ii and lens. Would anybody help me with some ideas on what I could do. I think this will be fun. I brought my camera in today, so maybe I can do some of these shots today.

Thanks in advance :)
Adam

good luck first and foremost. Hope you win a new 5D2. What a prize!!!

My guess is the shots that winning shots will likely contain one key element: Company logo or colors. Make sure whenever you can to get the company name or logo into your shots. Also, shoot people (don't companies all preach that people are its biggest asset?) and emotion. With the corp logo in the BG blurred out just enough to keep it visually recognizable.

Again, good luck! Shoot, post shots and ask for preferences. You should get lots of help and support. Maybe you could win TWO 5D2s and share one!!!

Thanks Dave! Yeah definitely will! I have a few people willing to be in the shots, so I will try to do that and I will see if I can upload the pics. If I won 2 5D2's, I would definitely have to share! LOL. I will keep the colors and logos in mind. Thanks again!
