Captioning/By-Lines

Quick question and what others do to notate by-lines during games. I've been keeping a small note-book logging what images were shot when during a game, but I still do not have the best memory when it comes to writing the caption of a certain image. Anyone want to share what works best for them?

Like it or not, most of captions for photos sent on deadlines are extremely generic ones. So most of my captions, if not all, are describing who's on photo, and rest of general things like what race/match, date, location etc. Of course all put into at least a bit logical phrase. So there's no need for such notes for me.

Voice tags on the camera body.
