This place is legit. My friend and I both bought our 50D's at the time here a year or two ago. The shipping is not all that bad either. Totals up to a good deal.

I did not buy it there, I was reading up on the 5D vs 5D2 and this was listed on one of the site. I checked it out, made sure it was legit by checking various sources including BBB and it seemed ok so I posted.

Given the latest deals on 'new' 5D2's I thought this was surely better than what I'd seen so far and I know how popular this is among members.

Aren't these the pre-quake prices?

EDIT: NVM.

These guys are not on the Canon authorized retailer list so most likely it's grey market. Plus they are in Brooklyn which is a tough location to be if you are legit since that location has such a bad rep for sketchy stores.

I've been to NYC, took the subway to Brooklyn when I was there and stayed with friends.
There are some nice neighborhood, but I wouldn't go into those Electronic stores.

It is a known fact that Brooklyn is well known for bait-and-switch camera stores. You don't have to be from there to know about it.

Where are you from?

Oh and in case anyone was wondering, here is their "retail store" according to Google Maps.
