You mean the very small images shown on Amazon - Hardly an indication of quality!

I'd spend the $250 on beer and a nice single malt personally... :-)

Who could resist a lens that is polished to a precise precision?

This lens is designed to "get you in".. All looks fine and dandy until you check out the maximum aperture of f/8-16.. You need a lot of light to shooting this thing at 1300mm..

Money best spent else where:rolleyes:

I have seen some sample pics and for that range and price, it's not too bad.

It's a clearly a fixed-aperture hobby-grade refractor telescope complete with T-adapter (a $15 part you can use to adapt any telescope to your camera). It's a little bit misleading marketing it as a camera lens, since you usually expect the latter to have a camera-controlled aperture.

I think I've seen a rokinon 500mm mirror lens with 2x extender that produced better results.

Alliteration sells lenses? Not english, of course.

I hope that a professional professionally polished it to a positively precise photographic precision.
