Nice shot tkbslc...I used to live in Utah and shots like your's and Dr.D's make me miss living there.

On a side note...I love my Verizon Fios :)

Cool site! Although at ISO 400, photos already very grainy and at 800 I can barely see the photo ;)

Also, snapped that photo at 10pm at night with just a table lamp, and didn't feel like blending exposures hehe

Maybe the site simulates Nikon not a C60D.... hehehe just kiddin....

Sorry quite right doing too many things at once... yes I am runnin 1.0.8 and its crashing trying to update to 1.1.0

Any ideas?

Have you tried loading the update onto an SD card and using the method to update from a card, rather than from EOS utility? I know I used the card method for the last update or two without any issues.

My road trip is going well, started out rainy, then up into the mountains that turned into cold, foggy, and rainy, but now that I'm in the central portion of the state the weather has been gorgeous. Still a little too warm for good fall colors, but I'm managing anyway. :)

A couple samples from the trip so far. No PP on either of these, just ran a quick RAW to JPEG export from LightRoom.

First one is with my 24-105mm, 2nd one is with the 8mm Rokinon Fisheye.

Str0 - I really like the first one of the train. Best in the series in my opinion. Would love to see that one in B&W.

once the fir is on your card, put the card into the camera, go to the menu section and tab over to the third "wrench". at the bottom will show your firmware version, click on it and it will give an option to upgrade your firmware. it's pretty simple and it walks you through the process. should only take a few minutes, at least on mine it does.

Love the greenhouse! This makes me want a fisheye badly.

Here you go! Only $289 (plus possible tax.) (external link) I spent probably 2 years dreaming of the Canon Fisheye, which is around $1000 and wishing I could afford one. Then I saw some samples from this lens, and the cost, and jumped on it. Honestly, for a lens that costs about 1/4 what most of my other lenses cost, I am constantly amazed at the quality of the images I get from it.

Thanks! That is a very good deal, soooo tempting :)
