Reversing the lens (commonly a 50mm) makes it into a "ghetto macro lens" and a Insanely small depth of field =)

Here's where all the magic happens. ;) This is the closest thing I have to a office and this is where I spend most of my time editing. I do all the rest in a Lazy boy.

I wish I had a Lazy Boy.

I do all my editing on a crappy laptop, 99% of the time at the kitchen bar in between baby-chasing-feeding-burping-chasing-changing-shaking-chasing-burping sessions.

Haha... Did you read my post? :) My bedroom is a mess, or I would've posted one too. :)

I've been wanting to try them out for a while... at that price, I pulled the trigger. If I hate it, at least they sell for more than that on the forums. :)

Don't get too caught up on the fact that one is an L lens... Which FL would be more useful to you?

your right haha. i think both would be very versatile, but i should probably stick with the tamron for now since its angle is a bit wider. btw nrowensby, you are using the 3rd party grip and the tamron correct? how do you like them? i was thinking about purchasing a 3rd party as well, but wanted to get some inputs before i purchase it and same with the tamron LOL

I love mine... I've had Canon grips on past cameras, and don't really see the point in spending 2-3x more unless you are just a brand-name junky. Performs just the same.
