Gotta love religiously looking at local adds to sneak up a good deal ;)

Local Craiglist Photo/Video RSS feed directly to my phone w/push notifications... FTW :)

I had a meet time setup for the 24-70L within 15 minutes of her listing it.

Visited a pumpkin patch on Sunday. Great colors.

Seeing the pumpkins that didn't make the cut was kind of sad!

Taken with the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5

It's really rare that I post here twice in one day, let alone two groups of pictures. I was really excited about these two from yesterday though... C&C welcome...

Yes, you should consider a CPL filter. And don't buy a cheap one, it'll do more harm then good. Read a bit on CPL, they are really useful for landscape shots. Anything that has a sky, a car or water will benefit from it.

The problem with CPL on an ultrawide is that you can get weird black bands on the skies.

Uneven polarizerization. Strongest effect is 90 degrees from sun and decreases from there so you will get a dark blue band 90 degrees with lighter on either side. You can minimize it though.
