Do you have anything besides the 50/1.4?
Nope, only just picked up the camera with the lens this weekend.

I need some further advice. I'm looking to purchase a wide angle lens now, to complement my 60d. I have the 50mm f/1.4 but need more image real estate. The three main ones I've come across are, in price order, these: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM - around £400 Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 - around £570 Canon EF 10-22mm F/3.5-4.5 USM - around £640 Can anyone give me some opinions on these? I've looked through the lens test forums at all three, but to be honest, to my--as yet--untrained eye, I don't notice too much difference in the quality. What I have read is that the Sigma could be prone to problems around image softness etc. Thanks ![]() i am currently using tokina 11-16 (was a bday present from friends), great lens, sharp, constant f2.8, but very flare prone, if i were to get a new lens now i would probably pick canon 10-22 https://www.tonyliuphotography.com.au/

I do not like how these came out. The WB specifically. I forgot my WB card and I used the garage doors for custom but even with some tweaking of the RAW I couldn't get it right. Criticism welcome.

See, on DPR you can upload huge files which get broken down into 3 sizes. The smallest one displays for everyone and people can click on them to see larger versions. For a web site dedicated to Photography, POTN is like 10 years behind the features other sites have.

DPR is backed by advertising and has Amazon servers. Up until Amazon took over, you could even directly post an image. Amazon has oodles of server space and bandwidth, this site is not a commercial venture like dpreview and others. Taylor

It seems to me that all of the car shots have a green tint to them. I'd say shift to magenta a good amount in the RAW files and that might do the trick. I just tried the plate on the truck for the WB and IMO looks a lot more what I imagine the color of that truck would look like. Now that I think about it, and I may be over thinking things, but I'd think that a white plate would be pretty good since it has that reflective quality and gathers ambient lighting and reflects the light from all over (kind of like a expo disc) rather than a white garage door where you might get a little off balance due to shadows and such. 6D .
